Senior Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic assurance approaches to drive project success, including transformation initiatives, change management, and customer remediation.
  • Provide expert assurance over high-profile projects, collaborating with senior leaders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead a dynamic team in providing project assurance across diverse portfolios, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand the organisation's project portfolio, identifying significant projects requiring independent assurance.
  • Engage with Executive Leadership to manage concurrent project audits within resource and time constraints.
  • Develop and execute audit approaches based on risk assessments, leading engagements focused on project delivery assurance.
  • Share actionable insights with management and the Board on project risk management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and emerging trends in project assurance.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in program/project delivery/assurance, preferably in financial services.
  • Proven ability to assess governance over large-scale initiatives, with a strategic focus and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and a tertiary qualification in Project Management or related field are highly desirable.
