About the Role

This role involves community engagement and administrative support to departmental projects and initiatives on public housing estates.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community development principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide community engagement and administrative support to departmental projects and initiatives;
  • To perform a range of administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner;
  • To provide face to face support to a variety of community engagement activities occurring across the Yarra estates;
  • To undertake and complete a mandatory course of study - Short Course in Public Sector Service Delivery - through a registered training provider over the course of employment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of community development principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Well organised and attentive to detail;
  • Able to work confidently with different computer applications.
