Job Title: Operations And Administration Coordinator
This role plays a pivotal part in Gecko's day-to-day operations, overseeing key functions that enable the organization to run smoothly. Some of these functions include:
- Office Operations: Managing daily office tasks, including phone support, email management, supply procurement, and liaison with contractors.
- Venue & Facilities: Coordinating hall bookings, invoicing, record-keeping, maintenance, and cleaning for Gecko House.
- Volunteer Coordination: Supporting volunteers, prioritizing workloads, and filling key roles as needed to ensure seamless operation.
- Education & Programs: Managing program inquiries, bookings, liaising with educators, and providing promotional support.
- Finance Support: Assisting the bookkeeper with invoice processing, petty cash management, donations, and volunteer roles.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365, and have a genuine passion for the environment. Additionally, they should have at least 5 years of administration experience in a similar role, with excellent multitasking, time management, and discretion when handling confidential information.
