Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at ResMed, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products and services provided by our suppliers. As a key member of our Supplier Quality Engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and resolve supplier quality issues through timely and systematic collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Work with suppliers to implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques, ensuring defect-free products and services.
  • Educate and support suppliers in the use of quality prevention tools and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely issue resolution and process updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, with 2-5 years of experience in engineering processes and tools within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, and business acumen.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to achieve optimal quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with statistical analysis and quality process knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Training and experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kepner-Tregoe, and APQP tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with highly regulated industries, preferably the medical device industry.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
