Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you may be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with household chores and grocery shopping
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments and administering medication
  • Planning and facilitating recreational activities such as holidays, fishing, camping and beach activities
  • Supporting social inclusion and community access
  • Facilitating fitness and wellbeing activities
  • Teaching independent living skills and implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Providing personal care

We operate 24/7, which includes shift work (sleepovers, weekends, and awake shifts).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capacity to provide physical assistance and support when required
