We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a key role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing essential support and assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living tasks and activities
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide medication support
- Engage clients in recreational activities such as holidays, fishing, camping, and beach trips
- Facilitate social inclusion and community access for clients
- Implement fitness and wellbeing activities tailored to individual needs
- Teach and develop independent living skills for clients
- Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with the client's care plan
- Provide personal care and support services as needed
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities including CPI training
- Annual free flu vaccination and reimbursement for first aid and CPR certifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following:
- A current Blue Card for Working with Children or eligibility to apply
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or eligibility to apply
- A driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Completion of NDIS E-Learning modules and other required training
- A smartphone with internet access and basic computer skills
