Account Growth Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Account Growth Specialist to spearhead our strategic Retail Chain customer relationships.

This role demands in-depth customer understanding, fostering long-term relationships and driving business expansion through new opportunities and improved areas.

  • Develop profound relationships with customers, gaining insight into their business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, leveraging deep understanding of the Retail segment, customer requirements, and expectations.
  • Think expansively about the value proposition for customers across our comprehensive range of offers.
  • Conceive compelling ideas, aligning solutions to meet specific customer current and future needs.
  • Proactively lead account planning, collaborating within the account team to develop a cohesive customer strategy/value proposition.
  • Pursue new business growth with customers through emerging opportunities and existing areas of improvement.
  • Enhance customer engagement by establishing a network at all levels within the customer's ecosystem.
  • Drive customer success on the digital Retail offer, ensuring high satisfaction with the rollout.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent, prior experience in account management, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze customer satisfaction data and devise corrective actions. They should also have knowledge of contracting and tendering procedures, relevant statutory body requirements, and Australian Standards within the industry, as well as exceptional relationship-building skills.
