We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role

You will be responsible for owning the full lifecycle of small to medium-sized projects, from development to production and continuous improvement. You will work closely with senior engineers to build scalable, high-quality solutions that align with engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning project development from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Maintaining and updating existing services to ensure ongoing performance improvements and address technical debt
  • Participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team discussions to uphold high engineering standards
Requirements
  • Expertise in React/Typescript, with experience in functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Understanding of shift-left testing and its implementation in practice
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture and cloud design patterns, including synchronous (API) and asynchronous (messaging) integration patterns
  • Basic understanding of modern application security practices (OWASP guidelines)
