Mid-Senior Backend Developer

This role offers the opportunity to design, build and scale technology behind a major streaming service. It is a position that enables innovation and collaboration in an agile team with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend APIs and microservices using .NET (C#), hosted on AWS.
  • Improve platform scalability, performance and reliability.
  • Drive best practice in coding, testing and software design patterns.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Build and maintain automated build, test and deployment pipelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards and team culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Strong expertise with .NET Core / .NET Framework (C#).
  • Proven experience building scalable, secure and maintainable microservices.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, search technologies and event-driven systems.
  • Strong testing background (unit, integration, performance and security testing).
