Job Title:

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Job Description:

The Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative occupational therapy services in a generalist caseload across community/school and acute settings. The clinician will demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate with minimal direct clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative occupational therapy services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client outcomes
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy eligible for AHPRA registration
  • At least 3 years post graduate clinical experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical practice knowledge, skills and experience within Paediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication and IT skills
