Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in a leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the ward, ensuring efficient management of the area, and coordinating the delivery of evidence-based nursing care.

About You:

  • You will have postgraduate qualifications in Coronary/Critical Care and previous experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent.
  • You will possess sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • You will demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and compliance with national standards.
  • You will be registered with AHPRA and hold a Working with Vulnerable People check.
  • You will have specialized nursing experience in cardiology/critical care and a Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in the same field.

The successful candidate will work in a fully accredited, 146-bed hospital located in the heart of Hobart's CBD. The hospital offers a range of acute care services, including general and specialty surgeries, comprehensive medical services, and emergency care.
