Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IBM WebSphere MQ Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of IBM WebSphere MQ.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and configuring IBM MQ Objects such as Queue Managers, Remote Queues, Local Queues, and Queue Aliases. They will also have experience with working and configuring clustered MQ set-up, implementing security in MQ, debugging MQ connectivity issues, and troubleshooting using MQ Error Files, FDC files, Syslog, traces, and monitoring tools.

The role requires proficiency in IBM MQ AMS and IBM MQIPT, as well as implementation of Incident, Change, and Problem Management Processes of ITIL. The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate with the MQ L3 resources, solution architect, and engineer for strategizing the MQ solution.

Required Skills / Competencies:
  • Experience in working and deploying with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Chef, and Bitbucket.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
