Middleware Administrator

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, maintain, and administer IBM WebSphere MQ and related MQ objects.
  • Implement ITIL processes and collaborate with MQ teams in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure MQ solutions meet the latest MQ security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot MQ connectivity issues and diagnose problems using MQ Error Files, FDC files, syslog, traces, and monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to strategize MQ solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of IBM WebSphere MQ.
  • Proficient in IBM MQ AMS and IBM MQIPT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
