The role of a Supply Chain Optimiser is to lead and improve the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and evaluate sourcing activities, including negotiations, costing, and vendor selection.

  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies, working closely with suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of raw materials and components.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, developing control processes to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce carrying costs.

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely inward and outward deliveries.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to stay current with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.
