We are seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to fill the role of Sales Assistant in our team. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and working with quality products, we would love to hear from you

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and develop cross-functional skills. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and assisting them with product selection and accessories
  • Providing service and advice to customers, predominantly trade customers
  • Taking orders in-store and by phone
  • Tinting paint products to customer requirements
  • Replenishing stock, including 15L paint drums

You will build relationships with repeat customers and help create memorable in-store experiences.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience working in a customer service role, ideally in retail (trade) sales
  • Experience with stock handling and merchandising
  • Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge or tech-savviness
  • Numeracy skills sufficient to perform POS transactions and comprehend tint percentages/ratios
  • Effective time management and planning capability
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively unsupervised
  • Capacity to perform manual tasks, such as lifting 15L cans of paint
