Personal Caregiver Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Caregiver to join our team at Woodlands Lodge in Wallsend. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing person-centered care and support. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing a wide range of personal care services to residents including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration (if qualified), and wound dressing.
  • Working collaboratively with residents to continue to do the things they love and promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Assisting residents with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to residents. Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards).
  • Ability to provide a wide range of personal care services.
  • Desire and willingness to work with each resident to empower them to continue to do the things that they love.
  • Experience in aged care desirable but not essential.
