Job Title: Design Manager

As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all design activities across civil, electrical, mechanical, and SCADA disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) design in substations, transmission lines, solar systems, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Lead design management processes to ensure timely resolution of client design comments.
  • Coordinate all design activities, liaise with internal and external teams, and oversee drawing and document submissions via the approved document management system.
  • Maintain and close out the Design Comment Register, track and close RFIs, and coordinate red-line mark-ups and final as-built documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineers Australia recognized tertiary engineering qualification.
  • Current RPEQ/CPEng certification or eligibility and willingness to obtain these.
  • Australian work rights, either Australian citizen or permanent resident.
