Job Title: Data Visualisation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Visualisation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualisation, with experience working with 3D models and scripting languages.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to assist with the development and maintenance of LGIP future growth scenarios, including urban growth modelling, mapping, and analysis. They will also contribute to key projects relating to the use of Strategic Infrastructure's PUG model, including draft land use planning and other related planning scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of LGIP future growth scenarios, including urban growth modelling, mapping, and analysis.
  • Contribute to key projects relating to the use of Strategic Infrastructure's PUG model, including draft land use planning and other related planning scenarios.
  • Create, review, and make expert recommendations for multiple scenarios to support strategic planning and project proposals.
  • Simulate scenarios within 3D environments to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, or equivalent experience/knowledge.
  • Experience in 3D modelling and scripting for planning.
  • Ideal experience in infrastructure or land use planning.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships as part of a high-performing team.
  • Ability to prioritise problems, think laterally, gather and analyse information to identify symptoms and causes, and engage the right people to reach better outcomes.
