The Job Description

The Rebates and Claims Officer will be responsible for reviewing and validating claims against approved deal terms and sales data. This includes entering rebate details into internal systems and generating credit notes.

  • Processing rebate and promotional deal claims is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Reviewing and validating claims ensures accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Entering rebate details into internal systems facilitates efficient claim processing.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Rebate claim processing and validation.
  2. Sales data analysis for claim validation.
  3. Internal system entry and credit note generation.
  4. Deal approval workflow support.
  5. Weekly journal entry preparation.
  6. Month-end close and reporting tasks assistance.
  7. Customer claim reconciliation with trade spend records.
  8. Maintenance of accurate documentation and audit trails.
  9. Credit team collaboration.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, credit, or claims processing is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary.
  • A keen eye for detail and analytical skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset is beneficial.
