Job Summary

As a skilled craftsman in the field of mechanical engineering, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing military hardware. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our Defence Maintenance Contract.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on military hardware and Defence armaments
- Safely operate machinery to repair, manufacture or modify required parts
- Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose
- Provide occasional support to various Defence Bases across the state assisting with Armory maintenance

Requirements

- Possess a Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (Fitter & Turner) or Certificate III Engineering Mechanic (General Fitter)
- Hold valid Australian Driver's License
- MR or HR License desirable
- Physically fit and enjoy hands-on work
- Must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
