Job Title: Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and installation of mechanical systems and electrical installations.

Job Description

As an Engineering Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and drafting technical drawings, plans, and 3D models for mechanical systems and electrical installations.
  • Assisting in the design and development of mechanical equipment, plant layouts, and hydraulic power systems using CAD software.
  • Fabricating, assembling, installing, and modifying mechanical components, machine tools, and control systems.
  • Selecting and procuring appropriate tools, materials, and equipment to ensure cost-efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
  • Testing and evaluating system performance, collecting and analyzing data to optimize mechanical functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an Engineering Technician, you will need to possess:

  • A trade certification or diploma in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical drafting, machinery wiring, or industrial electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) for schematic and layout design.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform technical calculations and interpret test data.
