
Bowel Cancer Screening Participant Liaison

The National Bowel Cancer Screening Program is seeking a highly skilled Participant Follow Up Officer to play a key part in this vital program.
This role involves:
- Following up on program participants listed on the NBCSP Follow-Up Report according to agreed policies and protocols.
- Developing and maintaining policy and protocols related to follow-up processes.
- Regularly engaging with participants and health professionals via telephone to resolve high-level problems.
- Collecting and providing data to update participants' status in the NBCSP Register and Qld PFUF database.
Key requirements for this role include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with people at all professional levels.
- Able to analyse issues, establish a course of action, and work proactively with minimum direction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, population cancer screening, and hospital systems/processes, or the ability to acquire it quickly.
- Competent database entry and word processing skills, along with the ability to manage sensitive information.
