
Decision Support Specialist

The role of Capital Decision Support Specialist is critical to our organization's success. We are seeking an individual who can play a key role in capital analytics, reporting, and governance.
The successful candidate will develop tools and reporting for distilling insights, coordinate the Capital Working Group, and support forecasting and day-to-day monitoring of the Group's capital position.
- Create comprehensive reports on capital generation and usage.
- Present findings to the Capital Working Group and provide actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate meeting materials, including preparation of meeting agendas and collation of relevant data.
- Analyze prudential standards and advise on the capital implications of business activities.
- Support external financial disclosures and related analysis.
- Contribute to research and industry data collection to inform capital planning papers.
- A strong understanding of banking prudential standards relating to capital adequacy.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Accounting. Postgraduate qualifications desirable.
- Experience within treasury, big four banks, or consulting firms is highly valued.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distil insights from large datasets and communicate findings effectively.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. SQL experience required, with TM1 experience desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
