In Australia and New Zealand, we operate retail and eye care brands: Sunglass Hut, Oakley, OPSM, Ray-Ban, and Laubman & Pank.
We seek a Merchandise Planner to oversee inventory planning, product performance, and lifecycle management across our eyewear categories and retail brands.
This role ensures the right optical frames, sunglasses, lenses, and accessories are available at the right time and in the right locations.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Product departments to drive best-in-class execution.
Key responsibilities include analysing sales, trends, and customer demand to forecast product performance, developing seasonal and annual merchandise plans by category, brand, and location, and monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations on reorders, promotions, and clearance strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years of retail merchandise planning experience
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and retail sales strategies
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Commercial awareness
