Senior Intelligence Analyst - Lead Emergency Management Analytics

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead emergency management analytics and drive decision-making, readiness, and improvement across our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for turning complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives business outcomes. Key responsibilities include analysis and interpretation of emergency event and readiness data, leading post-incident reviews, identifying risks and gaps, and developing situational awareness tools.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in Business Improvement or Analyst positions, with at least 8-10 years of experience working with large datasets and reporting tools. You will also have proven ability to analyse and explain the drivers behind performance thresholds, providing meaningful insights to support understanding and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and interpretation of emergency event and readiness data.
  • Leading post-incident reviews and lessons learned programs.
  • Identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and situational awareness tools.
  • Delivering high-quality reports and insights for senior leaders.
What We're Looking For:
  • A seasoned professional with extensive knowledge and expertise gained through at least 8-10 years in Business Improvement or Analyst positions.
  • Tertiary level qualification in Business Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to analyse and explain the drivers behind performance thresholds providing meaningful insights to support understanding and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
