Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals through their rehabilitation journey, advocating for their needs, and guiding them towards their new career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for individuals who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and health
  • Deliver counselling to individuals grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
  • Conduct assessments to guide individuals towards their new career
  • Work with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for clients
  • Develop graduated return plans by liaising with doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goals
  • Case manage complex psychological issues and liaise with treating health professionals
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehab Counselling or Psychology & registration with AHPRA or ASORC
  • Psychology applicants need to have finished 5 years of study
