Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations, taking pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations;
  • Preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile;
  • Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences;
  • Assisting with hiring new team members and on-boarding them;
  • Managing the team, including staff performance reviews and rostering staff;
  • Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard;
  • Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers;
  • Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies;
  • Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant;
  • Assisting with executing marketing promotions;
  • Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous shift supervisor experience;
  • Passion about humanitarian values and a desire to make a difference;
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues;
  • Ability to maintain a professional, well-groomed and neat appearance at all times;
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required;
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
