Hydro Operations Manager

The Hydro Operations Manager role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of hydro assets across a regional portfolio. This position requires effective leadership and management skills to deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities- Manage daily activities and project works in accordance with operational and capital expenditure strategies.
- Lead the provision of safe access to plant for all planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Develop and maintain the operator on-call roster, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration across remote sites.
- Experience operating within a power station or heavy industrial environment, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of CMMS systems and electronic permit-to-work programs.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to implement both short- and long-term work programs.
