Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife to provide high-quality patient care in a casual capacity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing family-centered midwifery care, partnering with patients and their support persons throughout the pregnancy and birth continuum, undertaking comprehensive ante and postnatal assessments, and developing or revising care plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care through coordination, collaboration, and communication
- Partner with patients and their support persons to deliver woman-centred maternity care
- Undertake thorough ante and postnatal assessments and develop or revise care plans
- Determine and monitor maternal and fetal well-being and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Conduct comprehensive discharge planning to ensure patients receive adequate support
- Deliver high-quality patient care through effective care coordination and communication
- Work collaboratively with patients and their support persons to provide tailored maternity care
- Carry out detailed assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and report on maternal and fetal health, communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary
- Coordinate comprehensive discharge plans to meet patient needs
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to ongoing quality improvement and best practice principles.
