About the Role

The Department of Education and Training, Victoria, is seeking a Behaviour Analyst to join our Student Support Services team. As a Behaviour Analyst, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to support students with complex behaviours, providing specialist advice and support to schools and students.

You will have a Master's qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis and registration or membership with a relevant professional body. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and respond to rapid requests.

The successful candidate will be required to work from our Frankston office, with the possibility of moving across Bayside as required. Supervision and peer support will be available within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist advice and support to schools and students with complex behaviours
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and provide training to others
  • Support students with high-risk and vulnerable needs
