Workforce Rostering Specialist

 

The Workforce Rostering Specialist plays a pivotal role in the effective management and enhancement of our workforce. This position involves overseeing Support Workers from roster management, training, and development to ensure that they are well-equipped to provide high-quality services to participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage rosters for community participation and SIL support ensuring optimal staffing levels and skills alignment with client needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with participants and support workers by recognising their preferences and needs.
  • Allocate new staff to Team Leader clusters and monitor roster developments ensuring efficient scheduling of support services.
  • Ensure shifts are rostered seven days in advance, work toward achieving two-week roster advance.
  • Adheres to rostering targets and ensures smooth execution of supports delivered.
  • Analyse workforce data to identify trends, areas for improvement and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Assist in the induction process of new support workers ensuring timely onboarding and continuous training beyond.
  • Support ongoing professional development to enhance staff skills including coordinating workshops and allocation courses.
  • Provides clear direction and guidance to support workers ensuring everyone is aligned with organisational goals.
  • Effectively manages support worker tasks, progress, conflicts, and performance encouraging growth and development.
