Job Opportunity

The Electrical Supervisor role is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of electrical work. This individual will be expected to utilize their technical expertise to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to Bechtel safety codes, requirements, and standards.
  • Incorporate the Zero Accident Philosophy into Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning /Start up activities.
  • Participate in safety programs.
  • Receive operational surveillance, administrative supervision, and technical guidance from an Electrical Lead or Pre-Commissioning Manager.
  • Evaluate objectives and results under supervisory review.
  • Establish and maintain contacts with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, project management, engineering, and field personnel.
  • Represent startup on project teams as assigned.
  • Prepare project administrative and technical documents as required for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, startup, maintenance, operation, and/or testing.
  • Implement plans, instructions, procedures, and work process improvements to ensure safe, timely, and economical delivery of Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning / Start up activities to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties.
  • Work with contractors and others to coordinate work sequences with the total project plan.
  • Maintain permanent plant materials in accordance with specifications and project requirements.
  • Test electrical system(s) according to Manufacturer's and legislative requirements.
  • Oversee jobsite operations including onsite activities of Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and their representatives.
  • Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
  • Assist with operations manual preparation.
  • Review functional acceptance criteria documents.
  • Ensure completion and submission of testing documentation to support project schedule.
  • Support/participate in facility/system walk downs.
