Climate Risk Consultant Role Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join our Climate Risk team as a consultant. We are seeking an ambitious professional who can drive our mission forward.

As a climate risk consultant, you will be responsible for supporting clients with identifying and assessing climate-related risks and opportunities across multiple sectors.

You will work closely with our APAC Climate Risk and Resiliency team to deliver high-quality consulting engagements on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global climate science, scenarios, and relevant climate data. They should also possess excellent analytical skills, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting client engagements with effective identification and assessment of climate-related risks, opportunities, and impacts.
  • Conducting technical analysis, providing expert viewpoints, and quality assurance on deliverables as needed.
  • Building client relationships, representing their interests within organizations, and delivering high-quality reports, presentations, and workshops.
  • Contributing to organizational initiatives, proposition development, and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in a related field (sustainability, climate, environmental science, finance, etc.).
  • Passion for sustainability, interest in emerging areas, and curiosity about sustainable finance.
  • Understanding of global climate science, scenarios, and relevant climate data.
  • Ability to analyze, write about, and advise upon economic, regulatory, and sustainability-related subjects.
  • Strong working familiarity with MS Office Suite, high levels of numeracy, and good Excel programming skills.
