Staff Specialist in Anaesthesia

We are seeking a specialist anaesthetist to fill a temporary 12-month position. The successful applicant will have recognised specialist qualifications in anaesthetic qualifications from their country of training, appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Anaesthesia and Pain Management, and a demonstrated willingness and ability to teach the management of the deteriorating patient.
The successful candidate will be expected to work constructively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will also lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees, residents and medical students, and demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work substantially at Wyong Hospital
- Lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees, residents and medical students
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement methodologies
Requirements:
- Recognised specialist qualifications in anaesthetic qualifications from their country of training
