About Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
We are seeking a Casual Park Cleaner to support our team and keep the grounds clean, tidy, and welcoming for all our guests.

The Role

As a Park Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning public and internal areas, including onsite litter bins and toilet facilities when required. You will provide friendly customer service and helpful information about Sanctuary facilities to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning public and internal areas, including onsite litter bins and toilet facilities
  • Providing friendly customer service and helpful information to guests
  • Maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment

You will work collaboratively as part of a small team, following direction without supervision, and demonstrating initiative to complete tasks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Physical fitness to perform all elements of a cleaning role, including walking long distances, emptying bins, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to adhere to WHS guidelines/policies and practices
  • Experience in working safely with commercial chemicals is an advantage
  • Good communication skills to interact in a friendly and professional manner with guests, team members, and volunteers
  • Manual Driver's licence and/or First Aid qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Knowledge of the attractions of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary would be an advantage
