Senior Philanthropy Strategist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires you to lead the development of high-value donor relationships across Western Australia. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure proposals reflect key program priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and growing a portfolio of major donors, trusts, and foundations
- Developing a WA-specific philanthropy strategy and business plan
- Re-engaging and deepening relationships with current and lapsed donors
- Writing compelling cases for support and tailored funding proposals
- Identifying new prospects and creating a pipeline of long-term supporters
- Hosting donor engagement and stewardship events across WA
- Proven experience managing major donor or high-value client relationships
- Confidence securing large philanthropic gifts (e.g. $50,000+)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse donor base
- Excellent communication and proposal writing skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills with a strategic mindset
- Experience working with CRM or fundraising databases
