Job Overview

A fulfilling career opportunity has emerged in the field of nursing to work directly with generous donors. This role involves greeting and interviewing potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate.

You will utilise your exceptional customer-facing skills and passion to deliver an outstanding service, including providing clinical oversight and guiding other team members in the blood collection process.

Your key responsibilities include completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests, setting up machines and collections equipment, and inserting and removing needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma.

You will also manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance, monitor donors post-donation, and assist them to rebook for their next donation.
