Job Description

Secure Network Architecture Lead

This role requires a visionary and strategic leader to design, develop, and deliver future-proofed digital solution outcomes for the organisation and its community.

The successful candidate will have expertise in network infrastructure, emerging technologies, and business acumen to drive innovation and improvement across the ICT environment.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and planning digital solution outcomes, utilising business acumen and technical input to support network optimisation, automation, and user-focused improvement.

Collaboration with external vendors and service providers is also essential to evaluate and select products, solutions, and technologies to support a network architecture roadmap.

Maximising availability, stability, and performance of the network, identifying trends, reporting findings, testing solutions, and creating recommendations and documentation are all key aspects of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in developing and delivering a strategy that includes complex network infrastructure and a 5-10 year vision with fit-for-purpose requirements and cost effectiveness.
  • Technical leadership and experience in building and maintaining relationships to influence outcomes in a large organisation with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop innovative, outcome-based solutions from conception to deployment, including implementation and ongoing support.
  • Substantial experience in providing tactical and strategic advice, business acumen, risk management, project management, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues through investigation and research, using data and analysis to support problem solving and develop options for resolution.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across multiple work areas to deliver business improvement outcomes.
