Role Overview:

As a dynamic People & Culture Coordinator, you will be responsible for hiring, managing staff documents, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving HR systems and processes. You will also manage rosters, develop training programs, coordinate meetings, and provide HR support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the recruitment process from job postings to onboarding new employees.
  • Ensure all staff documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Develop and enhance HR systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and efficiency of support staff.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed minutes.
  • Provide prompt responses to HR inquiries from staff.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience in creating and managing staff rosters.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Skills in creating and implementing training programs.
  • Advanced Diploma or Certificate IV in Human Resource.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Experience in an Aboriginal community/health/disability service.
  • Understanding of person-centered practice framework.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Experience in managing large teams and workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
