About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Health Foods team as a Category Management Expert, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth, profitability, and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers, focusing on cost of goods, promotional funding, and marketing strategies.
  • Manage strategic initiatives, deliver targets on sales growth, profitability, and market share, while partnering with a large number of suppliers to bring new ideas to the category.
  • Optimise product ranges through planned review schedules, offering store-tailored choices that reflect changing customer trends and utilise focused customer insights.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in Buying, with a focus on project management across Reviews, Promotional Strategy, and introducing new products to market.
  • A broad skill set in increasing sales and profit through strategic program implementation.
  • Analytical skills and understanding of customer insights to inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence cross-functional and external stakeholders.
