We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our mobile equipment maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment, including excavators, haul trucks, loaders, and graders.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile plant equipment.
- Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Overhaul and replace components to maintain efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate service records and adhere to Australian safety standards.
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile plant maintenance, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience working with OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
