Job Title: Cafe Chef Supervisor

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Café Chef in a dynamic kitchen environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain effective procedures for the operation of the cafe.
  • Supervise staff, including casual employees and hospitality work placement students, to ensure high-quality service and products.
  • Monitor sales and profit plans, control costs, inventory levels, labour, supply, and other expenses to optimize business operations.
  • Develop and implement procedures for efficient menu planning, ordering, food storage, presentation, and preparation.
  • Carry out activities related to the operation of the cafe, including food preparation, cooking, and maintenance of kitchen areas.
  • Liaise with administrative staff, reservations coordinators, and teaching staff to organize events and catering opportunities.
  • Maintain adherence to Workplace Health and Safety regulations and ensure standards are met in kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Ensure daily activities align with sound business practices and contribute to continuous improvements in business processes.
