Product Developer - Footwear Specialist

The Talent Mill is seeking a skilled Product Developer - Footwear Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the product development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality footwear products that meet the brand's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers to develop innovative footwear designs
  • Manage the design process from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
  • Work closely with the creative team to bring designs to life
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure seamless production schedules
  • Conduct fittings and provide feedback to suppliers to ensure optimal fit and finish
  • Oversee production schedules and provide regular updates on progress
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate logistics and inspect product quality upon receipt

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Proven experience in product development or design within the footwear industry
  • Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving work demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
