Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Specialist to join our Supply Chain and Operations team at Accolade Wines. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide support and guidance to various stakeholders on people-related matters, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that drive business success.

• Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, creating job advertisements, conducting phone screenings, interviews, and reference checks, as well as supporting the onboarding and induction of new employees.
• HR Project Work: Collaborate with the HR team to support project work and best practices, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Process Optimization: Review and optimize HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management: Support the Senior Human Resources Business Partner in managing stakeholder relationships and communicating HR-related information to various groups.
• Policy Development: Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure they remain relevant and compliant with changing laws and regulations.
• Analytics and Reporting: Support the analysis and review of HR-related data, including reward and recognition, recruitment, and business priorities.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and documents.
• Employee Support: Offer guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring they are aware of and compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Learning and Development: Support the development and implementation of learning and development programs, talent management initiatives, and performance management processes.
• Enquiries and Redirects: Handle routine enquiries and redirect complex issues to the appropriate team member.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about HR and has a strong desire to learn and grow. You will have:

• Customer Service Experience: A proven track record of providing excellent customer service and a commitment to putting people first.
• Recruitment Knowledge: Understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes, with the ability to support the development of job descriptions and job advertisements.
• Proactivity and Organization: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• HR Knowledge: Knowledge of HR administration and HR functions, with the ability to support the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Autonomy and Flexibility: The ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
