Job Opportunity:

A highly motivated Procurement Specialist is required to manage the procurement process for Rotable and Repairable parts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the timely and cost-effective procurement of spare parts, raising orders for purchase and repair, evaluating quotes against pre-defined criteria, and meeting internal and external procurement needs promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timely and cost-effective procurement of spare parts
  • Raise orders for purchase and repair in a timely manner
  • Evaluate quotes against pre-defined criteria
  • Meet internal and external procurement needs promptly and efficiently
  • Interrogate multiple systems and manipulate data output effectively
  • Take ownership of procurement issues and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Develop strong working relationships with management, colleagues, suppliers, and freight companies
  • Ensure accurate procurement reporting and compliance with company policies
  • Promote continuous improvement and identify industry best practices to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and cost control

Requirements:
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or administration, with a strong focus on aviation
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using advanced computer programs and data manipulation
  • A Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (desirable) or Purchasing (desirable)
  • Familiarity with aircraft inventory systems (desirable)
