Substation Design Expert Sought

We are seeking an exceptional Substation Design Expert to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping Australia's energy landscape by designing and delivering critical substation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex substation designs, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards while managing project delivery.
  • Contribute to enabling new renewable energy zones and supporting Australia's transition to clean energy.
  • Mentor and inspire the next generation of engineers, sharing expertise to help them grow into future leaders.

Requirements:

  • Strong fundamentals and experience in delivering robust and innovative substation engineering designs.
  • Confidence in leading design teams and passion for coaching and mentoring emerging engineers.
  • Broad range of skills enabling contribution to the power business more holistically.
  • Deep understanding of various engineering disciplines, industry regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Project management expertise and experience in integrating complex systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in software tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar engineering design platforms.
