Business Development Manager Role

Unlock New Opportunities and Drive Business Growth

As a seasoned Business Development Manager, you will thrive in a culture of innovation and collaboration. You'll work closely with key customers to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial discussions with key customers, navigating internal and external stakeholders at both management and engineering levels.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across Asia Pacific for process development, flex factories, aseptic filling, complex hardware or customized hardware, and other services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies and increase customer qualification and accelerate sales opportunities.
  • Drive optimal operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of opportunities in the pipeline, including design-in initiatives and forecasting performance against operating plans.
  • Work directly with project managers, lead system design engineers, process design engineers, and the site implementation team to deliver complex solutions successfully to customers.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in engineering/biopharma.
  • Proven commercial track record in multiple bioprocessing modalities with product management/offering/large deals expertise.
  • Strong manufacturing and engineering knowledge, including quality and regulatory understanding of bioprocessing modalities, including gene therapy and mRNA fields.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
  • Demonstrated high-level presentation and interpersonal skills, able to communicate and present ideas to customers effectively.
