Events Manager

The Brisbane entertainment hub is Australia's newest and exciting destination at the heart of the Queen's Wharf precinct.
This transformational project has brought more excitement to Brisbane, redefining how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise team members and assist in completing planning requirements for events.
- Set objectives for daily performance and oversee service flow and performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with client briefs and communicate policies to team members.
- Implement quality service standards and ensure responsible alcohol service practices.
- Report maintenance needs in a timely manner to minimize business disruption.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive food and beverage management experience with leadership experience in fast-paced venues or events.
- A passion for events and experience running medium-scale events.
- Natural ability to communicate with diverse guests and team members.
- Confidence in managing daily labour and stock control.
- Familiarity with efficient venue financials.
