The ACT Health Directorate is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Branch Manager to lead the Future Capability Branch in delivering ICT projects that align with the Digital Health Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for highly effective engagement with clinical and administrative colleagues across the ACT Health Directorate and the broader ACT Public Service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 50 officers responsible for delivering Business Intelligence and Data technical capabilities and ICT projects.
- Provide outstanding leadership, communicate professionally, and work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy both individually and as part of a complex team effort.
- Engage with clinical and support areas to identify technology solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient-centered care.
- Drive delivery of outcomes in genuine partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, Communities, and people.
- Experience in delivering and supporting digital health solutions in an acute care setting.
- Experience in delivery of Business Intelligence and Data technical capabilities and ICT projects that assist with clinical service delivery, health service administration or management.
- Ability to model the values of respect, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $265,492 - $276,106 depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $235,867. The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years.
