Operational Risk Management Specialist

The Chief Controls Office (CCO) is a line one risk function providing integrated risk services to support the delivery of business and customer outcomes in a safe manner.

This role supports the management of the Marketing and Corporate Affairs (MCA) risk profile, providing line one risk support to MCA stakeholders. You will play a key role within the team accountable for the management of the MCA business profile, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the risk and control environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the MCA business profile, including identification, assessment, and remediation of operational risk items.
  • Provide risk management advice and undertake risk management activities, including RCSAs, CSAs, and RiC.
  • Embed and enhance risk knowledge and culture across business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Operational Risk and Compliance counterparts to ensure compliance with Group Policies, Standards, and regulatory obligations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Operational Risk management experience with knowledge on risks, issues, incidents, and risk in change.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to facilitate buy-in and engagement from varying levels of management.
  • Process-driven individual with effective analytical, planning, organizing, evaluating, and problem-solving skills.
